LXVIII. Nakedness

There is a nakedness between us
That rends a great divide.
In this nakedness I hide.

Though our Father calls out to us
Our nakedness divides.
In this dark divide we hide.

For fear is simple and hope is toil-
Between them is a great divide.
Naked knowledge begs I hide.

  1. Adam and Eve in Genesis? I love your reference to naked knowledge.

  2. Adam and Eve as applied to myself and my own Adamness, yes. The struggle of 'walking in the light'.
