And There I Shall Retire

From my novel And There I Shall Retire

When all this strife is o’er,
And to you I do return,
We shall go unto the meadow,
In the house of our’n.
I will take you in my arms
Our babes about our feet,
Where only wind gathers grass.

And there I shall retire.
